Mini - ett tåg i miniatyr

Igår visade jag en PL-sida med fyra lika stora

fickor med bilder från Verkehrshaus i Luzern,

 Schweiz. Här kommer den högra sidan av det

uppslaget; en LO med papper från K-Design 

som bas och två foton samt dekorationer: 

Jag har bland annat dekorerat med knappar, 

cirkelformade gem, två charms, en trädekoration

som jag mot bättre vetande fäste direkt mot ett

foto, några enamel dots och utstansade cirklar.

Verkehrshaus in Luzern

I have never seen a bigger wheel than this one

standing outside the Museum of Transport in

Luzern, Switzerland. It's a TBM; Tunnel boring

machine. This particular one is one of four that

were used to make the longest tunnel in Europe

under the Swiss Alps; The St Gotthardt Railway 

Tunnel that is going to be ready in 2016. 

So I made this left side for my PL album with a

papperned paper from K-design that can easily

be divided into four, and then used tickets, PL

cards from Plus One Minikit (to get more color 

for the brown page), letters, enamel dots,

minialphas, washitape, to decorate.

This wheel is so big you can't even imagine.

So four of these 3000 ton heavy boring 

machines were used to drill / destroy the

soil or rock where the tunnels were made;

two were drilling from the north and two

from the south. 25 - 30 meters of rocks

daily with this machines that were used

instead of dynamite.

I made this page for the Creativica Blog,

and I also made a regular layout with the

same range of papers that I'll show later.

AOS skissutmaning i februari

Allt om Scrap har en skissutmaning i februari.

Skissen nedan har Ana Castro från Brasilien 

gjort. Kolla gärna hennes fina blogg!

Min tolkning av skissen blev så här och kommer

att hamna mitt ett uppslag i mitt PL-album. På

motstående sida sitter nämligen flera foton och

journalingkort med lila färg och hos Scrap-Perra 

fann jag detta fina ark ur den nya serien från

K-Designs fina papper som var precis det jag

letade efter (när jag sökte ETT babypapper)...

Övriga dekorationer: Blomma med hänge och

ljuslila dito från Prima, burlap flower från Slöjd-

Detaljer, washitape, etiketter och ljuslila washi

från en RAK, glashjärtan från Holland, chevrons

från Sodalicious, frantage, gesso, glitter, 

transparency från Hamble Studios, Inca Gold

 samt Pearl Maker.

CREATING FOR CREATIVICA

Hello; I have great news to tell!

I have been asked to be a guest designer at

Swedish Scrap- and Hobby store called Creativica

for the first months in 2014! First I got a packet full

of papers and decorations and loved it at first sight:

So I made my first layout using some of the ideas

we got from Anna Dabrowska (aka Finnabair); 

cutting strips off the patterned paper, placing some

decorations or flowers between patterned paper and

the mat, using the strips on the layout etc. So here's

my result:

The title "Seeing well in Copenhagen" refers to 

my new sunglasses that are, in fact, prescription 

glasses so I could actually see with them...

Some details: I have used ribbon from Docraft

(see Creativica blogpost HERE for all the details)...

... flowers from YouDo (above) and below

you see one of the white die cut hearts I

covered with Liquitex Glass Beads and

some glimmer mist.

Paper with cupcakes is from Swedish 

Landstoken and the very fun sentiment stamp 

is from talented Katarina at K-Designs.

I bought this stamp last weekend at the Stockholm 

Scrap- and Pearl Event. There were 20 different stores 

with lots of fun material for scrappers and pearlers.
