NEW CHALLENGE AT CRAFTY RIBBONS:

ANYTHING WITH RIBBON

I made a card with some favourite 

patterned papers from Basic Grey 

and a stamp with the text: 

"Just wanted to say 'Congratulations' "

The ribbon is called Cupcakes small

and you find it at Crafty Ribbons.

The leaves are from YouDo.

I made the flowers myself punching 

flowers from middle sized retro flower

punch and putting them together three 
and three with a brad and finally adding 
some glitterglue.

A greeting for Mandy ...

Mandy; a crafty fox and a person whos helping 

many, our "DT-mama" at Crafty Ribbons,

is leaving us temporarily in order to get

some things sorted out. In the team we

just want to show our appreciation over her

hard work and all the help we have received

over the years so we're sending her a little

something to cheer her up!

Mandy; here's a little Spanish dark chocolate

for you; best way to cheer me up si I hope 

you'll like it too!!

I like ...

I like / Me gusta / Jag gillar... 

is the title of my new LO inspired by the

techniques we learned las week at Stockholm

Scrap Class with Anna Dabrowska (Finnabair). 

But first I prepared my own papperned paper

spraying with Dylusions sprays using some 

elements from Studio Calico to mask and get 

arrows on my paper.  

Well after that I tried another product I bought 

recently; Frantage embossing enamel from 

En Liten Butik. Since I had not tried it before 

I just spread it out over the sprayed my cardstock

 randomly and dried it. 

I really like how it turned out! 

Then I decorated with some flowers underneath 

the cardstock I made into a "papperned paper" 

that I attached to a black cardstock. And then

some more decorations around my photos. I like

the Inkido flower decos I bought at Skaparlusten!

Of course I also put some washitape on my LO!

And little flowers with a rhinestone, and some

glitterglue on the arrow, etc etc.

So this is my layout "I like" for the challenge at

Creativica for October. I like it, have a look

HERE and participate making an interpretation

of "I like" you too!! 

The pictures are from our trip to Barcelona

in September and the lady next to me is my

dear mother that also likes Barcelona!

Industrial Baroque

Stockholm Scrap class also offered workshops

with Anna Dabrowska, also called Finnabair.  

I chose the class called Industrial Baroque and

look what I came up with after 4 hours:

We distressed, inked, glued and dried, sprayed 

and dried, painted, dried and finally stamped

some circles to finish the layout! And then we

let it dry before we could move...

Here are some details of the embellishments;

there are flowers, grunge stuff, buttons, 

things made of metal, trinkets ...  

... wooden veneers, numbers, lace...

... brads, flowers divided into more than 

one to make supplies last...

And finally everything sealed with spray

and a last touch of metallic paint!

It was a great class! If you ever have the 

opportunity to do a class or workshop with

Anna; just do it! It doesn't matter if you

don't intend to convert your style or not - 

but go, see, try it and learn new techniques!

Pan Pastels

Yesterday I attended an interesting 

workshop with Donna Downey at Stockholm

Scrap Class - and look what I made: A canvas

using pan pastels, fixative spray (that smells

really bad), stamps and a couple of tags.

I quite like this "painting" in pink and

turquoise with black details! What do 

you think?

Tomorrow I'll show you what we did

at today's class with Finnabair!

EN DAG I MITT LIV - temat för den första

oktoberutmaningen hos Fiebre de Scrap-

book por la noche! Skissen ser du nedan:

Un día en mi vida; tema del reto de la primera

quincena de Fiebre de Scrapbook por la Noche!

Elegí hacer un LO con fotos del 18 de mayo del 

 2013, un día muy especial en mi vida, cuando 

participé en un evento de scrap organizado 

por KDS en Barcelona. El día constó no sólo de

scrap, sino también fue lleno de alegría, 

 nuevas personas y técnicas, sol en las

calles de la linda ciudad y muchas fotos. 

He usado papeles de ILS (I love Scrap) de

Anna-Maria Wolniak y Nebri Kujawska en 

Polonia y de Glitz Design (el de los bigotes). 

Las letras son las Color Magic de Heidi 

Swapp y de las que cambian de color 

cuando las echas spray. Sweet Cherry 

Color Shine he utilizado en este LO. 

Hay bastante brillo y glitter; en las tres

flores, que son de Prima, hay glitter-glue, así 

como también en las tres flechas de madera.

Así con mi día con las famosas Amy

Tangerine y Loredana Bucaria - no

muy representativo de mi vida pero 

si muy significativo!

Butterflies and washitape

New challenge at Crafty Ribbons:

Butterflies

This is my card with washitapes instead

of patterned paper, a great ribbon from 

Crafty Ribbons, some butterflies (both on

the washitape as well as others punched

out from a Martha Stewart punch, some 

flowers, pearls and glitterglue.

Criss-cross kort

Hej! Idag visar jag ett criss-cross kort jag 

gjorde för Scrapparazzis räkning för ett tag

sedan. Jag har klätt kortet och en tag med 

söta papper i 6x6 från Scrapparazzi och

dekorerat helt simpelt med band och en 

blomma med silkespapper runt och lite

glitterlim på.  

Hola; esto es para ver si alguien que

habla castellano lee mi blog; hoy muestro

una tarjeta criss-cross que hice por cuenta

de Scrapparazzi. La decoración es sencilla.
